Roundtrip shuttle transportation will be provided for all guests wishing to use this service on the day of the wedding. There will be three conveniently located pickup spots on Kiawah Island:
~West Beach Conference Center
~The Sanctuary Hotel
~The Andell Inn at Freshfields Village
There will also be transportation for those staying at The Dunlin at Kiawah River to the wedding site.
For those wishing to drive their own cars, parking will be available.
Uber/Lyft are available from the airport but do not operate in and around Kiawah. SC Express Car Service (843-860-0009) can be booked in advance for trips to and from Kiawah. This may be useful for your return trip to the airport. Transportation will be provided to all wedding events, but we suggest renting a car if you want to explore the island on your own.
Kiawah Island is easy to reach by car. If you plan to drive and by-pass the Greenville-Spartanburg area, you'll need some money for the two toll booths- $2 total.
Our favorite way to get around the island! Kiawah Island is renowned for its natural beauty and abundant wildlife. Ride along 30 miles of paved leisure trails and 10 miles of hard packed beach. Discover numerous secret spots for solitude and wildlife viewing accessible only by bike! For those staying on properties rented through Kiawah Island, you can rent directly by calling Recreation Reservations at 843.768.6001. Delivery to your villa is available. If renting through AirBnB or VRBO, please ask your host for available rental companies serving the island.
